Why team development?    

Teams are now widely recognised as the basic building block of the modern organisation; yet building effective teams is a real challenge.

Through our team development events, we work with you to develop team members who have trust and confidence in the abilities of their colleagues and themselves, and who hold themselves mutually accountable - teams that generate high levels of commitment and team spirit.

What is the Events Matter approach?

Your team development course will produce powerful, lasting results. We provide a range of solutions from one-day high-impact events to in-depth team development programmes of two, three and four-day duration.

Just as each team is unique, the outcomes achieved are directed by the unique objectives and aspirations of each team.

We firmly believe in the power of experiential learning. In simple terms, this is an approach based around the four cycles of the learning cycle:

1. Experiencing
2. Reviewing the experience
3. Understanding and theorising about the context
4. Planning the next steps (both on the course and at the workplace).

The experiences on your course focus on specific issues that relate directly to the learning objectives of your team. Each team exercise is followed by a thorough and constructive team review. Our experienced facilitators will guide your participants to draw out relevant learning and to establish practical working strategies to implement at the workplace.
