Location: Indoors - Duration: approximately 1½ hours - Participation: for groups of between 12 and 200 people

Have you ever wondered how you would cope with the stress and pressure experienced by the dealers who trade everyday on the Stock Exchange in the City of London?  Well now is your chance to find out…..

Share prices are displayed on a giant board and are constantly updated for the ten Companies, which are floated in the game, as are prices for Gold and US $.  Holdings may be bought or sold amongst yourselves with negotiated prices or through our broker at the publicised price.  In competition with other dealers split second decisions need to be made to avoid potentially huge losses; the skill is deciding which shares to buy or sell and when to time those transactions to maximise your profit.

Our set-up consists of a ‘Share Shop’ desk with 4 Assistants and a boisterous Manager who runs the show. 

As the close of business approaches on each ‘day’, last minute frantic trading takes place right up to the buzzer sounding.  Friday is the last day of the ‘week’ and fortunes may change dramatically. 

Once the Share Shop has closed for the last time the Fund Managers put all of their remaining Money and Shares back into their portfolio pack and hand them in for totalling.
