Rubic Challenge
An unforgettable team building challenge as thrilling and entertaining as it is instructional
Practice invaluable skills such as spur-of-the-moment decision-making, forward planning and compromise as you attempt to complete each exercise in the quickest time possible! The Rubic Challenge can be set up either indoors or outdoors depending on the space available. The event consists of two parts - a series of timed exercises of differing degrees of difficulty, leading to the final Rubic Cube Eliminator! |
An instructor is appointed to each team and guides them through each choice of exercise. The teams compete for points which count towards the final Rubic Challenge Eliminator.
These points are allocated by the instructor, depending on the team's performance at each exercise and the level of difficulty of the exercise. The exercises involve either logical, cerebral or physical tasks. The teams may choose from up to four different levels of difficulty - easy, average, taxing or hard. The time allowed on each activity is 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes respectively. |

A central Control Panel informs the teams of the exercises currently available, their level of difficulty, the amount of time allowed to complete the exercise and the points allocated upon successful completion. A large, visual scoring system clearly illustrates how teams are performing during the event, showing them how many points they and their opposing teams have amassed.
The aim is to complete as many exercises as they can and to amass as many points as possible. It is up to the team members to decide their own tactical plan - whether to opt for lots of short, easy exercises worth fewer points, or to opt for a small number of longer, difficult but more valuable exercises. With the points that they have won, the teams move on to the final Rubic Challenge Eliminator. |

The Rubic Challenge Eliminator
27 coloured blocks, measuring approximately 2' by 2', are spread out on the ground. The aim of the Rubic Challenge Eliminator is to collect all the blocks, to negotiate an inflatable wall and hill obstacle and to form the Rubic Cube in the correct order, at the other side of the obstacle.
The teams are ordered depending on the number of points amassed during the Team Challenge. The team which is most advanced in the reconstruction of the Rubic Cube within their allocated time is the winning team! Great fun! |
