Event Overview
Eden is a unique event because it revolves around striking the balance between competitive success and respect for the environment.
Teams share a common goal: to build a sustainable community in 30 ‘virtual’ days. As they ‘travel around the world’ numerous eco-tasks must be completed. Earning resources, teams must take control of their destinies by deciding where and how to travel. Every step of the way, however, the consequences of their actions are shown using a giant emissions gauge. Will the teams collaborate to save the world from natural disaster? Or will they compete to become the victors in this fast paced team building event? Eden CSR comprises three distinct areas: a Travel Centre, The Challenge Zone, and Community Area. |

Event Description
All of the tasks, challenges and decisions that teams face involve simulations of real-life environmental considerations. Eden CSR provokes genuine discussion and interest in CSR and what CSR means to you as an individual, to you as a team and to you as a company. Planning strategies, collaboration, information sharing, time management and dealing with change are key features that will be tested throughout this thought-provoking and inspiring environment. To be successful, teams realise that they must modify their behaviour, adapt their attitude and co-ordinate their actions. |

A professional presenter introduces the objective of the game, the Emissions Gauge and the Master Route Planner.
Teams must work in unison to keep emissions in a healthy balance otherwise the consequences of their actions will be immediate and severe.
Eden CSR is highly motivational, generating a sense of satisfaction in building a sustainable community together, uniting awareness of shared responsibilities through shared experiences.
The team with the largest sustainable community that they’ve built within the rules and ethics of the game is declared the winner. |
