aMAZE in Phases Location: Indoors/Outdoors - Duration: approximately 2½ hours - Participation: for groups of between 12 and 200 people
aMAZE in Phases is a series of physical and intellectual challenges, aimed at teambuilding with an emphasis on fun and problem solving, rather than physical exertion although it does require a high degree of co-operation between team members.
| |
A guide or facilitator acts as a scorer and timekeeper and accompanies each team. Every guide is highly experienced in the corporate event field and can fire enthusiasm in even the most reserved group.
It is proposed to split the group into teams and to devise a programme so that they circulate through all activities, culminating in a head-to-head Grand Finale
Some example exercises included in aMAZE in Phases are:

By working together and working out the combination to 3 locks from a series of cunning clues, escape may be possible… but can they do it before the guards return?…. A great team exercise which relies on planning and communication.
The Chariot Challenge COMMUNICATION & PLANNING The race is on in this human-powered version of Ben Hur - your team has to negotiate a course with pieces of chariot, assemble it then relay itself around a course, pulling colleagues who are themselves encumbered in various ways - very funny to both watch and take part in.
GRAND FINALE: The Great Egg Launch An exercise in TEAMWORK, BEST OF USE RESOURCES, ONGOING ASSESSMENT, CLOSE COMPLIANCE WITH INSTRUCTIONS We suggest that teams come together for a very entertaining head-to-head challenge at the end of the day. Each team is assigned the task of designing and building a catapault which can hurl an egg the furthest distance down the course. A great way to finish off the day in style!
