INTRODUCING 'GREEN' EVENTS - A SUSTAINABLE APPROACH

We are committed to mitigating the effects of climate change and consider this to be sound business practice.

Events Matter is passionate about the environment and has a clear role and responsibility to manage its carbon footprint. 'Green Events' a subsidiary division of Events Matter; established in May 2007, provides Environmental Awareness and 'Green' Team Building events for the Corporate and Educational Sector.

These unique events have been created to encourage individuals and businesses to take account of their economic, social and environmental impact with an aim to supporting behavioural change and recognition of corporate and social responsibility. For the Educational Sector, these events provide stimulating, challenging and fun 'edutainment'.  

Our recent 'green' business awards (see below) are testament to our aims and achievements.

'ENVIRONMENTAL' BUSINESS AWARDS 2009

In October, Green Events won another environmental award in the Southend District Business Awards 2009 for a second consecutive year.

2009 proved to be a a good year for Events Matter in its development of environmental events helping to bring awareness of environmental issues to the fore. Our efforts were recognised by the award which is even more satisfying given the growing number of companies that specialise in environmental products.

Events Matter also reached the Finals of the Essex Countywide Business Awards in 2009. The Judges were clear that there had been an exceptionally high standard of entrants and being one of only three Finalists was an immense achievement in itself. We will be entering again in 2010.
